What we do
SpectraMetrix employs perceptive mathematical algorithms on spectroscopic data to determine the chemical and biomedical characteristics that you need to know.
The Company/Team
Dr Sydney Sukuta:
Dr. Sukuta holds a doctorate in chemical physics and is Spectrametrix’s chief scientist and inventor of its detection/analyzer technology. He is also a professor of laser technology and physics at San Jose City College, in San Jose California. In addition, he has extensive experience developing analyzer algorithms in a variety of areas that include soil analysis, yeast viability, beer quality, and cancer diagnostics.
Dave Straley:
Dave Straley is a Registered Investment Advisor and a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Nevada and California. Dave has worked internationally for the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) as a Foreign Service officer and consultant. His domestic experience includes 20 years in tax planning and preparation, small business consulting, and specialty work in health care accounting and reimbursement consulting.

Dr Suresh Kuchipudi:
Dr Kuchipudi is a professor of virology at Penn State and associate Director of the animal Diagnostic lab and will be serving as a technical consultant for the project. Dr Kuchipudi is an American Association of Veterinary Microbiologists (ACVM) board- certified specialist in veterinary virology and immunology. He has extensive experience in the development and validation of diagnostic assays against zoonotic and emerging viral pathogens including SARS-CoV-2.
BatchTest Corporation (previously known as ICWARE Systems Inc.) BatchTest facility is fully equipped for research and development of SpectraMetrix software and hardware development tools and server development resources. BatchTest support SpectrMetrix with all its engineering needs for concept and prototype design and development.
Bruce Smith, MD
Bruce Smith, MD, MPH, is a retired family practitioner (UTHSC San Antonio; Texas Tech Univ. Health Sciences Center, Lubbock) who has cross-trained in international public health (Loma Linda University). He has extensive experience in international health (Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Malawi and other countries of southern Africa.). His interest in Spectrametrix is in finding clinical solutions that are both accurate to western standards but also economical, not only in the USA but also in addressing the extensive needs in countries in development.
James Chinouyazve
James Chinouyazve is a retired Psychologist who headed the San Bernardino Department of Children and Family Services until 2016. He holds a Doctor of Education from Oklahoma State University and a Master of Science in Psychology from Southwest Oklahoma State University. His previous experience includes Director of Hospital Social Welfare in Zimbabwe and Superintendent at the San Bernardino Boys Juvenile Hall.
Jose Olivar
Jose Olivar is Commissioner for the District Attorney’s Office in the county of San Bernardino District #5. He is also President and delegate for Local 1414F Unite Union. Previously, he served as the Utilities Commissioner for the City of Colton.
Donald Ndlovu
Donald Ndlovu is a Business Consultant and head of the ROAT Foundation. Besides Spectrametrix, his experience includes nonprofit administration, community renewable energy development and project financing, community owned and based solar panel manufacturing, business development/business incubator programs, and water and wastewater treatment consulting.
